WHY SHOULD YOU NOMINATE?

Climate-Positive Cafe Collective is a group of cafes committed to transparency and inclusivity, each serving at least one climate-positive coffee.

Knowing whether a cup of coffee is environmentally friendly can be a challenge. With so many factors at play, it can be difficult to ask all the necessary questions before placing your order at a cafe. Thankfully, you can put your mind at ease by choosing cafes that are members of the Climate Positive Cafe Collective. The coffees they serve are not only delicious but also climate-positive, capturing a minimum of 300 grams of greenhouse gases for every cup. Below is the summary of why you should nominate your favourite cafe.

- Customers motivate businesses

- It's free for businesses to take climate action

- Our process is collaborative & transparent

We gratefully acknowledge that we currently live, play, and work on the unceded traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We honour and respect the rich history, cultural heritage, and ongoing contributions of the indigenous communities who have stewarded this land for generations. We are committed to learning, listening, and standing in solidarity with these Nations as we continue our operations on this sacred land. We also equally express our gratitude for the indigenous peoples around the world, especially those who protect the tropical forests of the coffee-growing regions.
